This white village perched on the slopes of the Sierra de Benadalid where you can find the well-known as the “Tajo de los Aviones” (cliff of the planes), and where the Via Ferrata is . It is located between the Genal and Guadiaro valleys next to the Ronda - Gaucín road. The steep and narrow streets of Arab design, come down into the valley of Genal and reach the Plaza Beni Al Jali , name of this village in the eighth century . Here, the Town Hall and the Church of San Isidoro stand . In the lower part of the village you can see the most important historical legacy , the Benadalid Castle of Roman origin which was respected later by Arabs.
