The Junta’s Ministry of Health and Families reports that 194 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Andalucia in the past day bringing the total number affected to 15,823. Across the region 346 patients are currently being treated in hospital with 91 of those in intensive care.
The COVID-19 total death toll in Andalucia has now reached 1,336 (up four) while the number of cured patients has risen to 9,918 – an increase of 437.
Since the start of the worldwide pandemic the total number of cases that have required hospitalisation is 6,128 and, of those, 751 have required intensive care treatment.
