The Diputación de Málaga continues with its plan to disinfect the streets, as well as public buildings, hospitals, health centres, residences and key buildings across the Serrania de Ronda as well as Civil Protection, Local Police, National Police and Civil Guard vehicles.
The plan, which is part of the provincial government’s strategy to face the health crisis caused by the Covid-19 coronavirus, includes the participation of the members of the Provincial Fire Department Consortium of the Deputation and farmers of the region.
Firefighters of the CPB have focussed on the municipalities of the Serranía de Ronda and some municipalities on the Costa del Sol while the UME military unit is in charge of the municipalities with more than 20,000 inhabitants and of the capital.
The firefighters are also focused on regional hospitals, and they have already disinfected the Regional Hospital of Ronda, the Vélez-Málaga Hospital, the Antequera region hospital and the Valle del Guadalhorce hospital.
The Diputación de Málaga has said it is covering the costs of the disinfectant material and the fuel for the machines.
