COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS: Spain’s Social Security offices cancel face-to-face public appointments with immediate effect

Spain’s Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration has ordered the immediate cancellation of face-to-face public appointments in its offices of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) and the General Treasury of Social Security (TGSS), starting tomorrow Monday March 16, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

With this extraordinary measure they intend to comply with the recommendations of the health authorities for reasons of public health.

Instead the public will be able to carry out urgent procedures that cannot be postponed through the electronic channels or by calling 901 166 565 (INSS) and 901 502 050 (TGSS).

The offices will remain operational behind closed doors, in order to keep essential services running.
