English Cemetery in Malaga forced to close due to Covid-19 pandemic

The English Cemetery Foundation has taken the decision to close the cemetery in Malaga from Monday to Friday, as from Monday, 1 February, owing to the Covid 19 pandemic crisis which has devastated the monument’s main sources of funding: visitors’ entrance fees and cultural activities.

The historic cemetery will still open from 10.30am to 3pm at weekends.

The Foundation will concentrate their efforts on raising the funds necessary to resume normal activity from public and private institutions and individuals, and on making known the availability in the cemetery of various options for the deposit of ashes after cremation.
