Two people have died in the south of Spain this morning (Monday) after a helicopter crashed near the Sevilla town of Pedrera, according to Emergencias 112 Andalucía.
The incident occurred around 8 am, when a witness alerted the emergency services coordination centre that they had seen to what an aircraft crashing in a place known as theCamino de Carnerero, near the A-353 road, with two occupants on board trapped after the incident.
Local Police, Guardia Civil officers, firefighters and health services were quickly on the scene but could only certify the deaths of the two occupants of the helicopter, whose identity has not been disclosed.
The 112 service also alerted the Air Traffic Control Centre (ACC) and the Coordination and Rescue Centre (RCC Madrid).
