The Junta’s Ministry of Health and Families reports that just 25 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Andalucia in the past day bringing the total number affected to 16,457. Across the region 261 patients are currently being treated in hospital with 64 of those in intensive care. The COVID-19 total death toll in Andalucia has remained at 1,358 while the number of cured patients has risen to 10,671 – an increase of 60.
Since the start of the worldwide pandemic the total number of cases that have required hospitalisation is 6,178 and, of those, 761 have required intensive care treatment.
