The Junta’s Ministry of Health and Families reports that just 54 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Andalucia in the past day bringing the total number affected to 16,511. Across the region 265 patients are currently being treated in hospital with 65 of those in intensive care. The COVID-19 total death toll in Andalucia has risen to 1,361 while the number of cured patients has risen to 10,743 – an increase of 72.
Since the start of the worldwide pandemic the total number of cases that have required hospitalisation is 6,176 and, of those, 760 have required intensive care treatment.
