Spain’s national government distributes one million more rapid tests of detection of antibodies for early diagnosis of COVID-19

The Spanish government is distributing between the autonomous communities another 979,200 rapid antibody detection tests. Another five million units acquired by the Ministry of Health will be delivered in the coming days.

Currently, PCR is the diagnostic technique. The rapid antibody detection tests, which have been verified by the National Centre for Microbiology, complement them. The guidelines for their use are included on the Ministry of Health website.
