Today, Monday, Spain’s national government will begin the distribution of more than 1.8 million facemasks in 365 strategic points of public transport in Andalucia to try and combat the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus.
Civil Protection volunteers, the armed forces and staff from the Junta de Andalucia will be in charge of distributing the facemasks in busiest sites among workers who use public transport to go to their work.
One mask, per person, will be given from 6 am during peak hours of the working day.
The distribution of masks will take place at a total of 365 points across the Andalucian province.
