The president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, has chaired the meeting of the Executive Committee for the Control, Evaluation and Monitoring of Special Situations, which has analysed the evolution of Covid-19 coronavirus infection in Andalucia. The meeting, which was held at the San Telmo Palace, was attended by the entire Governing Council.
Meanwhile, throughout the afternoon, Juanma Moreno; the vice president of the Andalusian Government and the Minister of Tourism, Regeneration, Justice and Local Administration, Juan Marín; the councillor of the Presidency, Public Administration and Interior, Elías Bendodo, and the Health and Families councillor, Jesús Aguirre, met with different organisations to report on the evolution of the disease in the community.
Regarding the incidence of the disease in Andalucia, the Ministry of Health and Families has reported that new cases have been confirmed in the community in the last few hours, which has brought the number of people affected to 96.
These new cases are in Malaga (8), Cádiz (4) and Córdoba (1).
The cases are pending confirmation from the National Centre for Microbiology. Prevention protocols issued by the Ministry of Health have been activated to determine the possible direct contacts that these patients have had.
