Diputacion confirm rubbish collections remain unchanged in the 91 municipalities it manages in Malaga province

The Provincial Consortium of Urban Solid Waste, dependent on the Malaga Provincial Council, maintains the collection service in the 91 municipalities of the province it manages without alteration, as well as the treatment of garbage in the environmental complex of Valsequillo.

In this sense, an appeal is made to the population so that, in order to facilitate the work of the operators, the garbage bags and the waste for recycling are always deposited in the corresponding containers (grey for domestic waste; blue for paper; yellow for plastics and green for glass).

Equally, it is very important to take extreme care of the hands after throwing out the garbage.

The RSU Consortium carries out the treatment of almost 825 tons of garbage in Valsequillo every day. Likewise, it collects about 22,000 tons of light packaging, paper, cardboard and glass each year.
