The Junta de Andalucia’s Ministry of Health and Families reports that 236 new cases of Coronavirus have been confirmed in the last 24-hours bringing the total to 1,961 with 58 confirmed deaths.
In the last day 11 more patients have died: a 71-year-old man in Almería, a 62-year-old man in Cádiz, a 76-year-old woman in Córdoba, a 79-year-old man in Huelva, a man in Sevilla (59), a 77-year-old man and a 79-year-old woman in Jaén, and three women (73, 76, 77) and an 88-year-old man in Granada.
On the other hand, 104 patients have already overcome the acute phase of the disease and improved their clinical status, so they have been discharged from hospital to complete their recovery at home, where they will remain under active follow-up. Similarly, 50 patients have already been cured in Andalucia.

The Ministry of Health and Families has expressed, once again, its gratitude to the magnificent work that all the professionals in the Andalucian health system have been doing ‘in these exceptional circumstances, demonstrating once again their responsibility, commitment and involvement in the fight against this epidemic.’
The Ministry has also extended its gratitude to the professionals of the Military Emergency Unit (UME) ‘for their commendable work during these days.’
