The Junta de Andalucía’s Ministry of Health and Families has reported that 396 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the last 24-hours bringing the total number of affected to 3,406. The number of deceased in the autonomous community has risen to 134 with 134 also intensive care.
On the other hand, 228 patients have been discharged from hospital to complete their recovery at home, where they will remain under active follow-up. And 77 patients have been cured in Andalucia.
The Ministry of Health and Families again expresses its gratitude ‘to the magnificent work that all the professionals of the Andalucian health centres have been doing in these exceptional circumstances, once again demonstrating their responsibility, commitment and involvement in the fight against this epidemic.
It also ‘extends this congratulation to the professionals of the Military Emergency Unit (UME) for their commendable work during these days.’
