CORONAVIRUS: Junta’s President annouces all schools will shut across Andalucia from Monday

The President of the Junta de Andalucia, Juanma Moreno, has announced this evening (Thursday) that all schools in the region will close from Monday for two weeks to try and contain the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus.

This is set to affect infant, primary and secondary schools and universities in the region.

The regional government has already announced the closure of daycare centres for the elderly – the age group most at risk from the disease.
