One dead and one injured in car crash on A397 Ronda – San Pedro road

One dead and one injured in car crash on A397 Ronda – San Pedro road

One man has died and another has been injured in a road traffic accident that happened this afternoon (Thursday) on the A-397 Ronda-San Pedro road according to the 112 Andalucia emergency service control centre.

The 112 service received a call at about 2.10pm that two cars had collided with another at kilometre 41 of the A-397 road.

Firefighters, paramedics and the Guardia Civil traffic police attended the scene where one driver was trapped.

Once cut free by the firefighters the paramedics confirmed the death of an 88-year-old man.

Another 35-year-old man has been transferred to the Costa del Sol Hospital.
