One dead and one injured in head on smash between motorcycle and car near Atajate

A 59-year-old man has died this afternoon in a traffic accident in Atajate (Málaga), according to the 112 Andalucia emergency services.

At around 17.30, the control centre received a call from a private individual who reported a head on collision between a motorcycle and a car on the A-369 road, in the direction of Ronda.

Paramedics, the Guardia Civil and firefighters were immediately alerted as the motorcycle was engulfed in flames.

Paramedics attended the man who sadly died at the scene of the accident.

Health sources also confirmed that a 70-year-old man was injured in the accident and has been transferred to the Serranía de Ronda hospital.
